Yes, Silphium Design builds websites that are WCAG accessible from the start.

Can you help me with images and logos?

Yes, Silphium Design can work with images or find images for your website. We can also produce logos based on your requirements.

Can you help with open-source software?

Silphium Design uses a lot of open-source solutions and can help you determine which software packages you can use. Examples of software that we use includes: Linux Mint, GnuCash, Libreoffice, GIMP, Irfanview, WordPress, and many others.

Can you speed up my website?

Silphium Design can use tools such as GTmetrix, Webpage Tools, PageSpeed Insights, and Pingdom, to first determine what is slowing your site. We can then optimize your site either by using webp for images, minifying code, and reducing database calls to speed up your site.

Can you help me with design?

We can help you design a WordPress website that is consistent with your branding and follows the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines for Accessibility. Many designers see these guidelines as an impediment, but we see them as a challenge which leads to better designs overall.

Can you help with an eCommerce website?

We can help you build a WooCommerce website with eCommerce functionality that follows the guidelines as stated in the other questions.

How many customers have you served?

Silphium Design started out doing websites for businesses that the owner owned. In 2020, we designed and launched the website for the Titusville Area Chamber of Commerce, which was our first third-party website. We still maintain this website to this day. Since this time we have designed and developed websites for small businesses in the Titusville area and for the Rotary Club in Titusville. All of these clients are still with us.
